Hoki are found all around New Zealand, with major concentrations in Cook Strait, the west coast of the South Island, and the Chatham Rise. Hoki is one of the ocean's most abundant fish and are readily available most of the year, but especially during autumn and winter.


Hoki are thin and tapered, and have silvery-blue scales that are easily dislodged. While already a firm favourite for their plentiful supply, our Hoki are also very flavourful.
