Mama San Sushi Rice
Mama San Sushi Rice is a short grain Japonica white rice – the variety preferred by sushi chefs in Japan.
When cooked, this short grain rice becomes slightly sticky and retains moisture, giving it the unique ability to bind together. The addition of sushi vinegar transforms it into the traditional sushi rice we all know and love.
We recommend using our salmon or tuna to make sushi or poke bowls with the cooked rice. Sanford and Sons Manuka Cold Smoked Salmon is also delicious in a sushi roll.
