Grilled Mussels with Garlic Butter and Parmesan
A deliciously easy appetiser using our juicy Greenshell™ Mussels served in the half shell, topped with garlic herb butter and bubbling parmesan, ready in just 15 minutes!

Ingredients
400-500g Greenshell™ Mussels Half Shell, thawed
4 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
salt and pepper
½ cup parmesan, finely grated
Method
Pre-heat the grill to 200°C/492°F. Line a baking tray with baking paper, then arrange the mussels in a single layer.
In a small bowl combine the melted butter, chopped parsley and garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
Spoon the garlic butter onto each mussel then sprinkle with parmesan, covering evenly.
Grill for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and golden.
CHEF'S TIP
Make sure to drain the mussels thoroughly once defrosted to avoid any unwanted liquid whilst grilling.
