Hāku Kingfish, New Zealand’s beautiful and sustainable Kaimona, is located in Ruakākā on the Bream Bay coast of Northland. Their year-round access to pristine water guarantees healthy growing conditions for our fish, prized for their high quality, rich creaminess, superior texture, and sweet flavour. 

 

Growing up to 2.5kgs, Kingfish are beautiful blue or blue-green colour on their backs, and white-silver below, with a yellow caudal fin. The hallmark of a Kingfish is its firm, succulent flesh, with a light, creamy colouring.

 

Kingfish Fillets hold their shape so are suitable for most cooking methods, including baking, frying, poaching, smoking, steaming and grilling on the barbeque.
